What is this
The glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA 1c) is a molecule whom presence has to be in proportion with the average glucose presence in the blood, during the last 90 days. This is of utmost importance in order to find out if someone is affected by diabetes or to monitore a patient. Blood glucose, on the contrary, is a less reliable diabetes marker, because it can be affected by external conditions (Food / drinks surplus or fasting before the test).
Cerastat system, composed by the test kit and the reading device, detects with extreme accuracy the glycosylated hemoglobin percentage (HbA 1c) and estimates the blood glucose presence, in only 5 minutes.
